Apartment 9 is the 4th flor (no elevator!) of an ancient building located beside Rossio square, with a wonderful view to the square, to the church of S. Domingos and also to the Elevador of Santa Justa, to the ruins of Covent of Carmo and to Chiado. The building dates back to the 18th C and possess high ceilings, providing an impressive sense of space, an amazing brightness and a spectacular view. That is to say that climbing 4 (high) floors worth the effort!

Apartment 9 is in the heart of the historical center of Lisbon, next door to all kinds of traditional commerce, fashionable shops and to numerous restaurants of all kinds. It is also a short walking distance from the other picturesque neighbourhoods of Castle (S. Jorge), Alfama, Chiado, and Bairro Alto. It is also walking distance to the subway and train stations that can take you to the beaches around Lisbon and to all the sightseeing in and outside the city.

There are two public parking garages at your disposal within a 2 minutes walk.

The apartment is 105 m2 and include the following:

• one living room with cable TV, DVD player and stereo;
• one bedroom with 2 sections communicating with each other, each with a double bed;
• one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed;
• a complete kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge with frozen compartment and gas oven and stove;
• a bathroom with bathtub;
• a toilet.

The apartment is furnished with old furniture form the decade of 60 and 80 in a relaxed way and it is perfect for young cool people wanting to enjoy the city centre with a wonderful view from the nice balcony.  

In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric and gas heaters.

We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”. You will also find in the apartment various CDs with typical Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience in Lisbon.
