Apartment 48 is a charming, sunny apartment for your holidays in the beautiful old Alfama district of Lisbon. In this one bedroom apartment, though small, sleeps three people. It was recently renovated with old Portuguese style. It has a small balcony looking out on the tiny streets of this old district. The apartment is on the second floor of a 18th century typical Alfama house (the same as apartment 158 - if you want to book both apartments please contact us and have a 20% discount) with lots of sun in the day but cool to sleep during the night in summer.
It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the castle and 10m to walk to the center of Lisbon. Travel around Lisbon on the delightful electric tram # 28 which is a 1 minute walk from the apartment.
The main train station, Santa Apolonia, is also a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
This full of light apartment has 35 m2 and has been recently renovated to include the following:

living room with a sofa, and dining table. It has also satelite (TV English + other languages), Hi-Fi and hi-speed internet connection;

a bedroom with double bed (140 cm wide);

a complete kitchen with gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer and washing machine, toaster;

a full bathroom with shower.
From the windows you have a nice view over the square Largo de S Estevão
Wireless broadband access available for those who have their own laptop with Wi-Fi compatible equipment.
In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric heaters and there is a fan for cooling.
We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”.
You will also find in the apartment various CDs of Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience.
